Africa Missions Global Celebrates the UNESCO International Day of Education.

Africa Missions Global of the Redeemed Christian Church of God organized a programme commemorating the International Day of Education with the theme “Learning for Lasting Peace”. This event took place at Peaceville International Academy. Renowned educators gave insightful and thought-provoking contributions to this theme. In attendance were the Visionaire, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, The Chairman Board of Trustees African Missions Global Pastor Brown Oyitso, Special Representative to the United Nations, Cynthia Samuel-Olonjuwon, Group Managing Director New Globe, Akin- Olusoji Akinyele, Acting Dean of Education, BA ISAGO University, Gaborone, Botswana, Dr. Bolatumi Oyegoke, Commissioner for Education/SUBEB Chairperson for Edo State, Tayo Salami, from Eswatini Dr. Fola Ojuola and the moderator Jeremiah Ogah. It was an eye-opening programme sensitizing participants about the need for peace through education. The event served as a platform for meaningful discussions and reflections on the significance of education in building a more peaceful world.

The students of Peaceville International Academy showcased their talent and creativity through a captivating drama. The play depicted the journey of reconciliation and understanding among individuals from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of education in fostering peace and harmony in our society.

The event reinforced the belief that learning enriches the mind and nurtures the values necessary for coexistence and cooperation in our global community.
